If you've yet to listen to Lana Del Rey, you are missing out on one of the most refreshing artists of 2011. I have been straight up hypnotized by the girl from New York who describes her sound as "Hollywood sadcore" and "gangster Nancy Sinatra". She formerly went under the name of Lizzy Grant and released a 2008 album called Kill Kill. Since then, she has dropped Diet Mtn Dew and Kinda Outta Luck under the new name of Lana Del Rey and has blown people away with the single Video Games. Look for her September EP.
