The end result of UFC 137's ongoing drama is simply a matter of trading places, as Nick Diaz will now fight BJ Penn and George St. Pierre will face Carlos Condit (was supposed to be Diaz-St.Pierre and Penn-Condit).
Just 24 hours after Dana White pulled Nick Diaz from the card for not showing up to two separate press conferences, he was re-instated for perhaps an all-around better fight. Diaz will face BJ Penn in the co-main event; as both fighters are known for their dodgy moves outside of the octagon, as well as also having very imaginative fighting styles that tend to present a constant flow of action in the octagon. GSP tends to find a dominant position against his opponent and sits on it, leading to much less of an entertaining fight.
Pumped to see my two favourite fighters go at it as Diaz vs. Penn will without a doubt be the fight to watch on the UFC 137 card. The only shitty thing is, Diaz had some true animosity towards GSP and does not for Penn; which could lead to a less intense fight.
