The Dream dropped a 'free download' album titled 1977 under his birth name Terius Nash late Tuesday night. He tweeted "chances DefJam puts a Cease and Desist on 1977 unfortunately very high. but i think y'all will have it before lawyers make me take it down." The release of 1977 will likely give his fans something to listen to while they anticipate his new album The Love, IV (Diary of a Mad Man), as the release date has been delayed.
