ROC's J.Cole drops the first track Work Out off his yet-to-be-titled debut album coming sometime this fall. J.Cole describes his new album as "really heavy- heavy in a good way" in a Billboard interview. Jay Z is apparently making an appearance on the album but the track has yet to be confirmed. If you haven't already- check out his mixtapes; The Come Up, The Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights.
MAD RESPECT for a dude who graduated from St John's University on an academic scholarship and practically forced Jay Z to sign him. Apparently, J. Cole waited outside of Jay Z's place of work for hours to give him a sample. Soon after, he got a text at work from Jay Z's people and he was on his way to being signed by ROC.
Dudes nasty!
